Bloomberg Law quotes Robert Algeri about the new Kasowitz website video

A trend among law firm websites is the use of video on the home page.

In Bloomberg Big Law Business, Elizabeth Olson profiles the new website of law firm Kasowitz, Benson & Torres, which prominently incorporates video. She states that “more firms are starting to turn to video and other animation to liven up their sites” and that this firm’s “bellicose” use makes its video quite distinctive.

Olson interviews Robert Algeri, a Partner at Great Jakes, to better understand the value of this firm’s video. He is quoted as saying, “It’s distinctive, and it might make some people uncomfortable, but anyone who sees it will understand the message in an instant.”

Great Jakes has pioneered the inclusion of video in law firm websites. The article quotes Algeri as noting that the firm has “created award-winning law firm websites, including and, also incorporating video. Both are gentler videos, aimed at creating a trusting atmosphere and a connection.”
