Vladimir Power

Biography

I’m right there. Really. I finished 533rd in the LA Marathon.

I'm enthralled by well-designed corporate marks. Uniqlo is one of my favorite logos.

Until recently, I lived in San Francisco and commuted by ferry each day.

As Website Producer, Vlad is the client’s primary contact and guides the client through every step of the website-building process. Having worked with lawyers for many years, he is well-versed at working with committees and building consensus. He also has a great deal of experience translating technical jargon into plain English.

Law Firm Veteran

Prior to joining Great Jakes, Vlad spent eight years as an in-house marketing technology specialist at law firms in California. During that time, he led the development of several groundbreaking websites. Having seen the website-building process from both sides, he can offer clients a great deal of empathy as well as battle-tested strategies for moving a project forward.

In addition to developing websites, Vlad’s in-house experience includes the creation of marketing collateral, event planning, email marketing, and analyzing web traffic.

Creative Enthusiast

Vlad is on a never-ending hunt for creative inspiration, always on the lookout for eye-catching, out-of-the-box design and marketing ideas that can be applied to client projects. Lately he’s been reading design blogs and musing over the striking redesign of the Mozilla logo.

Marketer by Day, Runner by Night

Although some people think it’s crazy, Vlad firmly believes that running is the best way to relax. So, after a hectic day in the office, Vlad clears his mind with a five-mile run. He has completed several marathons, including races in New York, Los Angeles, and Sacramento. Before his knees give out, Vlad’s goal is to run 24,874 miles – the length of the equator.
