UB Greensfelder
A growing firm with a 100+ year history of world-class client service.
UB Greensfelder—a firm rooted in the Midwest that has the skills, expertise, and experience of larger national firms—needed a fresh new website that properly reflected its capabilities. The firm wanted its redesigned website to feel dynamic and modern, while reflecting the warmth and approachability of the firm.
The UB Greensfelder website features a luxurious user experience thanks to graceful page-load animations and smooth page transitions. These animated effects were possible only because the website was built using ReactJS, a cutting-edge front-end website technology.
Before & After
Person and Practice Microsites
The website features “person, practice and industry microsites”—a unique approach to law firm service areas and bios that was pioneered by Great Jakes. Microsites essentially are small customizable websites that fit seamlessly within the firm’s larger website. Microsites maximize engagement by allowing visitors to read the full text of an attorney’s reputation-enhancing content (e.g., articles, news, blog posts and case studies) from within the service area page or bio, instead of redirecting them to other sections of the site.
Q&A Module
To help communicate the firm’s warm and inclusive culture, the website features a module for “Attorney Q&As” in the Diversity and Careers sections. This feature allows employees to tell authentic stories about how the firm’s positive culture has enriched their lives, both personally and professionally.
Dynamic Content Teasing
The website is built with “dynamic content teasing,” an award-winning feature that helps keep visitors engaged by suggesting relevant content. Teasers can be manually curated or set to “automatic mode,” which uses a proprietary algorithm to suggest related content.
Collaboration Photography
In order to make an emotional connection with potential clients, the website features engaging photos of the firm’s attorneys collaborating. The photos were shot by Keith Berr with creative direction by Great Jakes.
