Moses Singer
A storied New York City firm with a 100+ year history.
Moses Singer is a dynamic, thriving law firm. However, their aging website and graphic identity didn’t reflect this reality. They needed a brand refresh (including a new logo and colors) as well as a new website that would position the firm as modern and sophisticated. Additionally, the firm required a modern CMS toolset that would allow them to tailor a unique message — and include a unique mix of substantiating content — for each attorney.
The Moses Singer website features its new branding, logo, and color scheme, and was built with React, a cutting-edge frontend website technology.
Brand Refresh
A vibrant new graphic identity was designed as part of the website project. This initiative included a new logo design, a new color scheme, a new typeface, and fresh imagery. Additionally, Great Jakes worked with the firm to craft a “positioning statement” that encapsulates the firm’s top-level message.

Before & After
Practice, Industry and Person Microsites
The website features “practice, industry and person microsites”—a unique approach to law firm service areas and bios that was pioneered by Great Jakes. Microsites are essentially small customizable websites for each service and person that fit seamlessly within the firm’s larger website. Microsites maximize engagement by allowing visitors to read the full text of an attorney’s reputation-enhancing content (e.g., articles, blog posts, and case studies) from within their bio, instead of redirecting them to other sections of the site.
ADA Compliance
The website was designed and built to be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). For example, the website has been optimized for screen-readers (used by blind people), is fully navigable via keyboard (for people with motor disabilities), and is designed to be contrast color compliant (for sighted people with impaired vision).
Dynamic Content Teasing
The website is built with “dynamic content teasing,” an award-winning feature that helps keep visitors engaged by suggesting relevant content. Teasers can be manually curated or set to “automatic mode,” which uses a proprietary algorithm to suggest related content.
Collaboration Photos
In order to make an emotional connection with potential clients, the website features engaging photos of the firm’s attorneys collaborating. Photos were shot by Michael Meyer with creative direction by Great Jakes.
Attorney Portrait Photos
To achieve a more modern look and feel, new portrait photos were shot for all attorneys. The large, engaging photos are designed to create an emotional connection with website visitors. The portrait photos were shot by Michael Meyer with creative direction by Great Jakes.
