Stradley Ronon
Founded a century ago, Stradley Ronon has expanded beyond its Philadelphia roots to become a national law firm serving some of the country’s most dynamic companies.
In recent years, Stradley Ronon has evolved from a leading Philadelphia firm into a national powerhouse, representing some of the most respected players in the financial services sector. To align with its elevated profile, the firm sought a new website and refreshed brand identity—one that feels modern and energetic while staying true to its collegial and collaborative culture.
The Stradley Ronon website features a luxurious user-experience thanks to graceful page-load animations and smooth page transitions. These animated effects were possible only because the website was built using React, a cutting-edge front-end website technology.
Visual Brand Refresh
The Stradley Ronon website showcases its refreshed brand look, which was designed by Great Jakes. The new graphic identity includes a new logo, color scheme, portrait photography, and marquee photography.

Before & After
Person and Service Microsites
The website features “person and service microsites”—a unique approach to law firm service areas and bios that was pioneered by Great Jakes. Microsites essentially are small customizable websites that fit seamlessly within the firm’s larger website. Microsites maximize engagement by allowing visitors to read the full text of an attorney’s reputation-enhancing content (e.g., articles, news, blog posts and case studies) from within the service area page or bio, rather than redirecting them to other sections of the site.
Integrated Blogs
To better leverage its strongest marketing content, the firm integrated its Business Vantage Point blog into the website. This integration means that the blog and website share the same database and navigation structure, which offers an array of benefits. For instance, blog posts are automatically promoted on relevant pages of the site (and vice versa). Additionally, blog posts are included in site-search results and are fully displayed on attorney bio pages.
ADA Compliance
The website was designed and built to be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). For example, the website has been optimized for screen-readers and features a high contrast mode for people with visual impairments and is fully navigable via keyboard for those with motor disabilities.
Dynamic Content Teasing
The website incorporates a feature known as “dynamic content teasing,” which has won awards for its ability to keep visitors engaged by suggesting relevant content. Teasers can be manually curated or set to “automatic mode,” which uses a proprietary algorithm to suggest related content.
Collaboration Photography
To foster an emotional connection with potential clients, the website showcases compelling photographs of the firm’s team members collaborating. These images were taken by Michael LeGrand with creative direction provided by Great Jakes.
