Polsinelli

An AmLaw 100 firm with over 1000 attorneys in 22 offices nationwide.

award
The Polsinelli site has been recognized as a Gold winner in three major competitions: The AVA Digital Awards, the Horizon Interactive Awards, and the w3 Awards.

The firm has more than doubled in size over the past decade. As a result, Polsinelli needed a dynamic website that positioned the firm as the national powerhouse that it is. Additionally, the firm wanted the website to spotlight its unique culture, diverse team, and progressive approach to the practice of law.

To convey the feeling of a cutting-edge organization, the website features graceful animations and page transitions throughout. These animated effects are possible only on websites built on the newest front-end technologies.

Brand Refresh

The Polsinelli website showcases a refreshed brand-look and brand-messaging, including its new tagline “What a Law Firm Should Be.” Industry-leading brand strategist Ross Fishman of Fishman Marketing was instrumental in the various brand improvements reflected on the website.

Before & After

Capability and Person Microsites

The website features “capability and person microsites”—a unique approach to law firm service areas and bios that was pioneered by Great Jakes. Microsites are essentially small customizable websites for each person (or practice or industry) that fit seamlessly within the firm’s larger website. Microsites maximize engagement by allowing visitors to read the full text of an attorney’s reputation-enhancing content (e.g., articles, news, blog posts, and case studies) from within the service area page or the bio, instead of redirecting them to other sections of the site.

Built with React

The Polsinelli website was built using React, a cutting-edge website technology that is fast becoming the standard for dynamic websites. React allows for lightening-fast page load, elegant page transitions, and improved security (among other things).

Dynamic Content Teasing

The website is built with “dynamic content teasing,” an award-winning feature that helps keep visitors engaged by suggesting relevant content. Teasers can be manually curated or set to “automatic mode,” which uses a proprietary algorithm to suggest related content.

Photography

To help convey the vitality of the firm – and to make an emotional connection with visitors – the website features striking photos of Polsinelli’s people. Photos were shot by Mitch Ranger, a nationally acclaimed photographer.
